Gabrielle + Michael // Married

Ever since I met with Gabrielle earlier this year to talk about the possibility of me photographing her wedding, I had been eagerly looking forward to the big day. The wedding took place on 11/11/11, supposedly the ultimate date in history when the biggest wishes are to be made. Well I’d say that Gabrielle and Michael were pretty blessed to have one of their biggest wishes come true on that day! Their sweet love for each other was very evident throughout the whole day, and it was an honor to be there to document it. Enjoy my favorites!
While I was with the ladies, my second shooter/boyfriend Josh was out photographing the groomsmen. Thanks Josh!!
Pictures are important to Gabrielle and Michael, and with an evening wedding and the daylight savings switch, it would be too dark after the ceremony for portraits. So they decided to see each other before! The bridge was a beautiful place for a first look.
After their first look, we headed over to Mary Washington’s pretty campus for some bridal party pictures.
The florals by Laura Pierce were absolutely gorgeous.
Since the wedding was also on Veterans Day, they had a neat display in tribute to their family who served in the military.
